About us

About ARQOVIA ATELIER

ARQOVIA ATELIER is an architecture and interior design studio in Gurugram. We design homes and workplaces, from the plan of a plot to the detail of a kitchen drawer, and coordinate construction on site where execution is part of the agreed scope.

Every project begins with how a space will be used: who lives or works there, how light moves through it, where quiet is needed. The drawings follow from those answers, and materials are chosen with you, samples in hand, before anything is built.

Our journey

From vision to reality

Every project begins on paper: a measured survey, a brief in your words, and drawings that test proportion, light and use until the plan is right. Each stage is reviewed and approved with you before the next begins.

Where execution is part of the agreed scope, the same studio takes those drawings onto site, coordinating the trades, checking the work as it is built and walking through every room with you at handover.

What we do

From the first drawing to the finished room

Design on its own, or design and execution coordinated by one studio. Every appointment is scoped in writing before work begins.

How we work

Five clear stages, each approved with you before the next begins.

  1. Initial consultation

    A first conversation about your site, your needs and what an appointment covers.

  2. Concept design

    Sketches and plans that test the brief, with options to choose a direction from.

  3. Development

    Detailed drawings, materials and finishes, approved with you stage by stage.

  4. Execution

    Trades coordinated on site against the approved drawings, where agreed in writing.

  5. Completion

    A walk-through, a closed snag list and the documents you need at handover.

Questions we are often asked

Short answers to what people usually ask before a first meeting. For anything else, talk to the studio.

How does a project start?

With a conversation. Send an enquiry, call or message us on WhatsApp, and we will arrange a first meeting about your site, what you need and how the studio can help. The scope of the appointment is then set out in writing before design work begins.

Do you offer design only, or design and execution?

Both. Some clients appoint the studio for design alone, from concept to working drawings. Others also ask us to coordinate execution on site. Which stages are included is agreed in writing at the start, so it is always clear what the appointment covers.

What should I share at the first meeting?

Whatever you already have: a site plan or floor plan, photographs of the site or the space, and pictures of homes or rooms you like. A rough idea of your budget and when you hope to begin helps too. If you have nothing yet, that is fine: we can start from a conversation.

How long does the design take?

It depends on the size and scope of the project, and on how quickly decisions are made at each stage. Once the brief is clear, the stages and their timing are agreed in writing.

Do you visit the site?

Yes. Seeing the site is part of understanding the brief. Where execution is part of the agreed scope, visits during construction are part of that work, as agreed in writing.

Which areas do you work in?

The studio is based in Gurugram and works in Gurugram and nearby. If your site is somewhere else, ask us and we will tell you whether we can take it on.

How are fees agreed?

Fees depend on the scope, size and complexity of the project, and on whether execution is included. After the first meeting the studio sends a written proposal setting out the scope and the fee; work begins once it is agreed.
