Who we are
ARQOVIA ATELIER is an architecture and interior design studio. We design homes and workplaces: new buildings, complete interiors, renovations of existing spaces, and the kitchens, wardrobes and joinery that make a space work day to day. Where execution is part of the agreed scope, the studio also coordinates the construction on site, so the drawings and the building stay in the same hands.
The studio is an independent proprietorship. The people who design your project are the people you deal with, from the first conversation to the last site visit.
How we work
Every project follows the same path: a conversation, a written brief, a concept with options, drawings approved stage by stage, materials chosen together with samples in hand and, where it is agreed, execution coordinated on site against those drawings. You will always know what is in scope, what is not, and what is being decided next. The seven stages are set out on the approach page.
What we care about
Light and proportion before decoration. Drawings detailed enough to build from. Materials chosen in hand, for how they wear as much as for how they look. Honesty about what is included and what is not. These are the values we hold ourselves to on every project, and they are set out below.
Where we work
The studio is based in Gurugram, Haryana, and takes on projects in Gurugram and across Delhi NCR. Site visits, sample reviews and approvals happen in person wherever the project allows.
Philosophy
Designing for the life of a building
A building is used for decades and photographed for a day. We design for the decades: rooms proportioned so they feel right empty or full, light that changes through the day and the seasons, and materials that improve with wear rather than needing to be hidden.
Restraint is part of that. A calm plan, a few materials used well and details resolved on paper leave a space its owners can live in, change and grow into. Ornament, where it belongs, is in the quality of the surfaces and the way light falls on them.
The same care goes into how a project is run. Clear stages, approvals in writing and one point of contact are not administration; they are how the design survives contact with the site.

What is designed, what is executed and what is not part of our work is written down before a project begins, and again whenever it changes.

Orientation, openings and the proportions of each room are settled before finishes are discussed, because they are the decisions that cannot be corrected later.

Every decision is drawn, reviewed and approved before it reaches the site, so the building matches the agreement rather than the memory of a conversation.

Finishes are chosen for how they wear, how they are kept and how they look in the light of the room, not only for the day of handover.
